Clients, friends and business associates…
It is Fresh Breeze time again. If you missed the January issue, take a look.
In the January issue, we introduced all our “new dudes”… now we would like to introduce and tell you a little more about one of our “old dudes” – Brent Decker.
|
Brent Decker continues to be our stabilizing voice of technology reasoning. We constantly put his Purdue Masters Degree to the test – we like to dream up difficult client solutions to see if he can rise to the top with a stellar solution… And, amazingly, he always does. Whether it is taking on a data base driven website which addresses a complex set of audiences all with different needs like HomeCrest, or a product microsite to track traditional media investment, Brent takes on the client challenge and always comes up with digital solutions which make the client happy.
A great example is the new site for Malone Advisory Services and the “accordion” solution. Take a look.
Oh, and on a personal note, we can hear hearts “breakin’” all over the world now as Brent is officially engaged to marry the love of his life. [Editor’s Note: Not to be outdone, Kelly Andrews popped the question over the Holidays and she said yes – lots of weddings in our future.]

Have you ever heard of iRise™?
We now use this web development and simulation collaboration tool to provide our clients a visual framework of each web application so they can visualize the page layout, functionality and content flow during the important design and specification process. This is the same simulation system used by GM, Amazon and Target and has proven very helpful for our clients with large approval groups and for those who say, "I just can not see it in my minds eye." Now they can.
Feel free to click us back if you have a question about site simulation – which means we design, develop and deploy your website on time and on budget.

Awards are nothing more than that – awards, but we like to always share the good news and our clients’ love the recognition – and we do too.
Our Ann Arbor, Michigan client, Genomic Solutions website was awarded an Honorable Mention in the recent 2007 MarComm Competition. Genomic Solutions manufacturers, markets and sells robotic capital equipment to biotechnology, life science and pharmaceutical research organizations. Their message is complex and varies by audience. We designed and developed an elegant solution for an extraordinarily complex communication issue. Rather than telling the client story based on the client’s product line, we started from the customer and prospect point of view.
By changing the direction of the “telescope” the client’s client can find a solution in their own "language", not Genomic Solutions’ product nomenclature language. Not exactly a novel idea, but difficult to pull off correctly. Go take a look and tell us what you think of the site.

Malone Advisory Services encouraged us to let out all the stops – “help me tell my story and make it easier for prospects to sell me within their health care organizations, while I’m on the road speaking three weeks out of four,” was the client’s request. This is an interesting communication opportunity as the client does not need or want SEO, does not need to be found, she does not want hits. Counter intuitive – right…not really.
The client, Mary Malone, is a nationally recognized expert in health care customer service. She speaks at national conferences and consults with hospitals around the country. She needed a site to manage her prospects and clients while she was traveling – so she could direct prospects to all the data they need to sell her knowledge, expertise and speaking skills up through an organization by a quick and easy interface to her CV, testimonials, calendar and bio.
Mary’s site uses a number of semi–custom web tools from the Force 5 Navigator™ suite of products. The calendar is intuitive, update–able and allows prospects and clients to see her availability at a glance. Let us know if you want to know more about the Navigator web tools which can be easily added to your existing site.
